FSX Controls

i would like to make it as realistic as possible but would like to know what is the setting to contact Air Traffic Control , or what is the name of this called to contact it cos there are variious things in the settings called Radio comms etc could anyone help me

Well to contact ATC, you have to press the ' Key. Thats the key with the @ symbol.

Then they'll be a list of options of what you want from ATC. If you dont like the ATC voices then you can download new ones,but you'll have to google it or you could try www.avsim.com/ .

If you want the Ultimate realsim then you could download a program called Vox ATC http://www.voxatc.com/DownloadFSX.aspx.

Instead of press keys to talk to ATC this program uses voice recognition, so you can actually speak to ATC. If you dont know what to say - there is also a dialog box that pops up to help you. All you need is a microphone.

Thanks for that, ive heard that you can go online with it, have u tried it yet?

Hi,

Yes there is online ATC functionality in FSX, however, for best realism you should checkout VATSIM (www.vatsim-uk.org). This is live ATC that you talk to using real world procedures - as good as it gets from my perspective.
