hey all,
well i just though it would be nice to talk about 10th edition to Flight simulator. I just got FSX for christmas and i am over the moon about it. After a good 35min+ wait to install, i lost about 20% hard disk space lol,
i finally plugged in my new joystick and took the 737-800NG for a quick spin, and then took a few really good tutorial missions.
My computer isnt top range and far from it so the graphics arent all that good as you see in some pictures, but oh well. But its so much more than the FS2004, i have the standard edition with the ATC capabilties, but im not bothered.
FSX rocks!, but i think ill stick with FS9 when it comes to online play, i havent tried FSX online but im sure the frame rate will drop dramatically
Hey,
The missions are only an added bonus and Yes you can still fly anywhere in world at your own choice.
Microsoft decided to create these missions as as it would attract more people to buy the game. And it Has!. The missions are fanstastic and theres so much more to explore in the virtual world. For example you can compete in the Red Bull Air Race.
There are 50+ missons in the delux pack which ranges from rookie missions to full blown hard core stuff. To be honest get the Delux pack as it also has 24 aircraft and you can be ATC.
Ive got the standard pack and its only got 18 aircraft and only 30 or so missions. So the delux pack is Worth the EXTRA BIT OF MOENY!. lol
