The email address of forum contributors is posted in clear in pilotweb RSS feeds, which has resulted in a deluge of spam to a previously well-guarded email address.

The spam deluge may not be via pilotweb, but I will take this up immediately with the Webmaster and get him to post a reply. - Nick Bloom, Editor.

With regard to email addresses in RSS feeds, it appears that the forum system (Telligent Community Server) by default includes email addresses in the raw RSS feeds, regardless of any configuration settings defined at either a user or system level.
We'll raise this with the vendor concerned as a fault to get it resolved, but in the mean time I've disabled forum RSS feeds until we have a fix.

Not a problem. We'll re-enable RSS feeds from the forums once we've been able to ensure email addresses are not included.
