I am joining the air cadets in the hope of getting some flying lessons! Also to have fun! Is there a way of getting a PPL at a reduced price; without paying so much money. Can anyone help me? By that I mean gliding, excellent way of learning to be a pilot and also good for training for Forced Landing Without Power! I agre with what Andrew said and would add that not having the option of a go around if the approach is misjudged concentrates the mind and makes for a more acurate pilot when you go powered.
