No cash ? no fly ! BUT if you keep a job running part-time, and work the remaining at all the theory, and flying lessons, you WILL go up the ladder. Now, my only input about running towards ATPL, is that once you have it, but DO NOT have a job in a multi-crew cockpit, you do not log any MCC time that is REQUIRED towards your 1500hours rneeded to validate your ATPL. Besides all this, you will have to keep your IR current, and this, probably on a multi-engine, and all that is a LOT of money.
This is Bhumika here. M gona start wit my CPL and hve got a loan sanctioned of bout 7.5 lakhs dat 2 being colateral as my Home Papers rather a mortgage loan through Union Bank Of India.
You can jst giv a try from this bank if possible or we can be in touch 2ru mail
Re: Help Me : I am interested in the path for becoming a commercial pilot
I am interested in the path for
becoming a commercial pilot and would like the oppurtunity for training to gain
the qualification. Also, I am currently taking my GCSE's. Therefore, I would
like an information pack which has information on what is required.
please kindly help me
I'm so sorry to hear about situations like these. I also come from a family that couldn't afford their child to do everything she wants. Here in Estonia pilot training is free (10 pilots each year paid from the government, although there is no jobs to offer). So maybe this is one of the opportunities for you to consider - try to apply into a flying school that is free of charge.
I qualified to Estonian Aviation Academy couple of years ago, there are about 20 applicants onto one position, there are four years of training, higher engineering education equaling of BA plus your frozen ATPL when graduating. And only good words from me :)
I can feel what you have been through, cause I am the way the same as yours,I don't have much money for school fees, but we all should not give up,let's believe that tomorrow will be another day!
