There are only two companies in the US who are approved by the CAA. They are Helicopter Adventures Inc. based at Titusville in Florida www.heli.com and the second is Orlando Flight Training (who are partnered with Cabair) and based at Kissimmee also in Florida www.flyoft.com Both of these can give you JAR training and licences and have local examiners. No conversions - you get a CAA issued JAR licence. --- George
For those interested in going the FAA route it used to be possible to get m-1 and j-1 visas to train and work in the states. I think the names of the visa are changing or may have already changed, but this is still possible.
More importantly is that the industry doesnt have enough jobs so their are thousands of trained pilots, low hours and no jobs.
