hello my name is josh powell i am in year 7 at holden lane high. to be a pilot has bin one of my dreams since i was 5 if u could help me any wau please text me back because i would love to fly the big planes like virgin and all the others get back to me as soon as.
I wish I had been more determined about becoming a pilot when I was younger!
If it helps, I started out by becoming a glider pilot. First of all, it is quite a bit cheaper than powered aircraft. Secondly, It teaches you the basic piloting skills IMHO better than through powered flying, 'cos you have no engine to bail you out if you get it wrong. Thirdly, when you convert to power, you get some credit for your gliding experience. (Anyone know if that is still true when EASA takes over?)
