I hope you don’t mind me placing this post on your forum. However I cant think of any other appropriate place to communicate with people who potentially might be able to help.
I am a director of a new Community Interest Company called UK Civil Air Patrol. Our aim is to fund a national UK national volunteer air patrol. Based in the north of England we have vacancies on the board of directors for people with the necessary skills and interest.
We are looking for potentially retired business people with a deep interest in aviation.
At the heart of Government policy is the driving ambition: to put more power and opportunity into people’s hands. Ministers want to give citizens, communities and local government the power and information they need to come together, solve the problems they face and build the Britain they want. Building the ‘Big Society’ will be the responsibility of every Government department and the responsibility of every citizen too. Government on its own cannot solve every problem. However, they can draw upon the skills and expertise of people across the country to achieve social, political and economic changes.
