Hi all,

After passing my Air law in June I took time off my PPL exams for my GCSE's. Now I have the Summer holidays i've been working on Met.

I'm finding it some what hard to retain the info. I know its a shorter subject then Air law but it feels alot harder.

For my air law I read through the book did the revision questions then went through my confuser over and over and over again.

I just don't seem to take in much info reading and I was wondering if there are some more interactive ways to study I dont mind spending some money if its worth it!!

I take it that your age will prevent you from going further i.e. go solo until your 17 (you mentioned GCSE so i assume your a teenager). I recently did Air Law (85%) and did have some issues in revision as it makes the most boring read. Your moving onto Met which in comparison is easier than Nav and the whizz wheel is where people come a little unstuck...including myself!

As a solution for you - Oxford do some PPL CD's about £210 for the lot, of course they can be purchased seperately. I found these really good or you can attend a course run over a week where you can study the subjects and take the exams at the end - kind of intensive course I know some Abintro CPL students take this route after they pass there C1 Medical.

Thanks will have a look at the CD's. I have done my first solo in June and need Met and Nav to start some solo Nav!!

Taking my Met exam on monday then going flying and will see how I did when I land. if i fail then I will probably invest in some Cd's mentioned and see how they help me.
