Hi, On a vanilla PPL I believe you are limited to 3 pax, someone else may well be able to confirm/refute this. In theory France/Spain with the family is doable, however to carry 6 all up you will need something larger than the average first time aircraft, maybe a PA32 or similar, and of course the complex rating to go with it. As is always the case though whatever you fly, you will need to consider weight and balance. Just because a plane has 6 seats doesn't mean you can always carry six passengers and luggage and fuel. Speak to your instructor about W&B he may well be able to clear things for you. Hope this is of some help, and welcome to the forum.
