PPLs fly humanitarian aid in Chile

Forum readers may be interested to know that private pilots here in Chile have been flying urgently needed food, medical supplies and emergency shelters to communities badly hit by the Chilean earthquake and tsunami. I'm immensely impressed by the infectious enthusiasm and immediacy with which they have implemented their own practical humanitarian aid programs. Jaime Colvin, a pilot from the Santiago Flying Club, says, "I have flown 21 hours over the past three days. Today I'm flying officials to Pichilemu where they're going to reopen an airstrip and then I'm heading to the island of Mocha before Friday because I've 500 kilos of flour and yeast to deliver. I still have to make one more flight with blankets and medical supplies which I'm going to do in the coming week".
Does anyone have any more info on the aid work of the Chilean PPLs?
