From my research I understand that both the Modular and Intergrated ATPL courses will result in gaining the exact same qualification. Although the Modualr will take a good year or more longer to complete.
Ideally I would like to do the Intergrated course but its looking more likely that I will do the Modular while working full/part time. I was just wondering although from what I've read it says the chances of a Job are the same, Is this true or are Intergrated ATPL pilots more likely to get the Job if both have trained at the exact same school. Just want to know so i know where i will stand with my qualification.
I hope to start training for my ATPL in 2 and a bit years time when im 18 and when I've finished my A-Levels. If i don't get into the "Big Boy Schools" then i will most likely do my ATPL at Bournemouth Commercial Flight Training School (BCFT) which i belive is some what inbertween Modular and Intergrated.
From what I know training at one of the Big Schools gives you more chance of getting a job than the not so well known schools. If i complete my ATPL at BCFT school am i then putting my self at a disadvantage to others so to speek. ( I am aware that i could just walk into a job straight away - I know it's very unlikely though )
Sorry if some of this doesn't makes sense im struggerling to find the correct words and pharses to make this easyier to read.
Thanks alot for any Answers and once again i apologize if you have seen this millions of times before! ( I have looked through previous topics but i havn't found the answers to these questions hence why im asking )
Greg this comes up quite alot, you've said you'd like to do Integrated, then why not? I've only just posted this http://www.pilotweb.aero/cs/forums/2078648/ShowPost.aspx#2078648
but hopefully it explains some order in which to go about things
