First landing

Hey,

Today after working in the flying club cafe i had my first officail NPPL lesson. We took of in a Robin HR200 at 17:00 and headed west to Blandford Forum after our original NW departure was changed due to weather. When reaching blandford we did a few steep turns and played with the yaw of the aircraft. my instructor decided the weather was not good enough to continue the lesson so we headed back to Bournemouth.

We re-joined on the downwind for an approach for Rwy 26. When we turned on to final i was told "You can land" which was such a good feeling. I was off the centre by some what  but i didn't care! My instructer was pleased with the landing and so was I.

just thought i would share my experience as its one i will never forget! :)

I feel so amazing now and can't wait till a week monday for the next flight.

Glad your's was as memorable as all of ours, Greg!!

Landing naturally takes some practice, its tough to fly towards something hard. I have a little difficulty judging the height for roundout currently.

Nice one G!

I learnt to fly in a Robin HR200, good little trainer with excellent visibility.

Best of luck for many more landings to come
