PPL Class 2 Medicals

My UK PPL Class 2 medical is due on the 11th June. I have heard from a source in France that there has been a change to medical date requirements and it is now possible to have your medical up to 2 months before the due date and the date remaining the same i.e. in my case the 11th June. I have tried LASORS but can find no reference to this - maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

Can anyone on the Forum enlighten me further ? This will help me book flights back to the UK at that time which at the moment is proving a bit of a nightmare.

It's 45 days for a Class 1 so I guess it's the same with a Class 2. I'd check with your AME. If he wants your money for the medical he can at least tell you when you can take it!
