Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself as i'm likley to be visiting the forum frequently now and asking a question or two. Just has my first trial flight today and boy it was fantastic!!!!! Booked my first lesson in a couple of weeks and can not wait!!! Can any one tell me which are the best student books to buy and any good websites to buy them from.

I use the Trevor Thom Air Pilots Manuals - very good, but I know there are some others out there that take a slightly different approach to teaching which you may or may not enjoy.

I also use the Vortex Online Log Book to log my flight hours, should anything happen to my log book (heaven forbid!).

Indeed Les, good suggestion!

I bought my David Clarke H10-13.4 Headset for only £120 on there!! Also got my Pooleys CRP-1 and a free flight calculator for only £20.00!

Talking of which, I have my Transair Headset Case for sale on eBay at the moment!
