Humberside flightschools???

Hi All,
Few months ago I graduated University and started working. After 6months working and doing something which I truly dislike I really started thinking of chasseing a dream. A dream of becoming a pilot. This dream was with me since I was a child. I am completely aware that from making the decision to achieving this goal there is a veeeerrrrrrry long way. But I started gathering information and I am desperate to, at least, give it a try and not to regret in 30 years time that I never gave it a try. My question is whether it is not too late for me (I’m 23 yr old) to start my run towards ATPL license? How do you guys think? When I read through articles many people started when they were 15-17yr old. At this point I have to mention that I’ll have to do rather modular course because I definitely won’t be able to afford a full course at once so it’s going to take me a quite a while.
Now my most important question: I reside in Scunthorpe and the nearest airport, where flight schools operate, is Humberside Airport. There are few schools at Humberside Airport:
- Frank Morgan School
- Humber Flying Club
- Soloflight
- The POM Flying Group
Does anyone have any experience or information regarding them because I don’t know which one to choose? Which one would you recommend? Which is more affordable and offers good quality training? Or maybe there is a different school you would like to recommend (which isn’t to distant from Scunthorpe)?
Thanks for your help.

Sorry I don't know about Humberside as it's not my part of the world.
23 is definitely NOT too late to chase an ATPL. If you're in a graduate job which is presumably paid alright, stay in that job and do your flying studies in your spare time. That'll dramatically reduce the amount of debt you'll be in later on.
Best of luck.

I will not express an opinion as to which is the best. I am biased, as I am an instructor for one of them :-).
Why not get in touch with each of them and asked for a meeting with the owner and/or CFI to discuss your requirements. Remember to compare like with like when you are given quotes. A ppl will be cheaper in a 152 compared to a 172 or Warrior. Ask questions as to which days of the week you can fly. Some of the schools are closed on some days, which is not helpful if those are the days when you are available and the weather is great for flying. Ask if you will be given a briefing before each lesson (at no extra cost). Where is the plane kept? Is it hangared or will you have to remove the ice and snow before you fly? Ask to see the aircraft which you will be learning in. Get inside, sit in the pilot's seat and play with the controls to see if you find it comfortable. Never, ever, pay cash up front, on the basis that you will get a cheaper rate by doing so. Flying schools regularly go into receivership. Pay for each lesson after you have been given it.
You are certainly young enough to progress to taking your ATPL. There have been cases of people starting, when in their forties, and getting jobs with the airlines.
It is also possible to do your CPL/IR training at Humberside with Triple A.

I believe Sandtoft do PPL traing and are as close as Humberside.
I would suggest they are cheaper, but better?
Nice people though and that's not to say Humberside aren't.
