Continuing PPL training after long break- Q's

Hi all,

I'm loking to restart my PPL training after a 7 year gap- (currently have 38hrs dual in a PA-28 and 2 solo flights). Obviously it will take a bit of time to get back to the previous standard of 7 yrs ago, but could anyone tell me whether there is a rule which states a minimum number of hours be flow over a recent period of time (i.e.12 months) prior to undertaking the PPL practical test.

Thanks

ddollan

No expiry on previous hours as long as your log book has been signed by an instructor. All your theory is time expired though 18 months I believe.
