Cabair Integrated (H) Vs Modular at Helicopter Services, or Heli-Air, or PremiAir
I am hoping to start studying for my CPL/ME IR (Frozen ATPL)soon, but I am having nightmares trying to decide on the best route and who with to train with. The problem is trying to decide between factors such as 'total flying hours Vs reputation Vs quality of training'....have been told by Integrated School that you can get a start careerwise with less hours because employers view the Integrated route differently to the modular route.....have been told by the modular schools that there is no difference from an employers perspective and that it is all about the number of hours!
Has anybody trained with any of these companies and if so where did you end up employment wise? any views or help would be greatly appreciated.

Helicopter license? Or Aero? Confusing title!
Little difference between Integrated and modular as the debate goes on forever and is forever bought up in new topics. As for quality and reputation if you want employment at the end of it in the already struggling economy you really do need the whole 'reputation' factor and the quality factor. Train with the likes of CTC Wings, Oxford or FTE and your probably sorted - providing you pass selection and endure the course!
Reality is its hard to find a job as it is, without coming from a school nobodies heard of with minimal hours, no type rating, no airline experience such as line training etc etc
Im not a commercial pilot nor am I employed, but Im training with CTC at present and really do think its one of the best courses to be on, very professional, 100% employment history so far, includes line training, integrated or modular, experience abroad and the whole package!
