Hi guys, I posted this on a nother fourm on the same site, but I wasn't getting as many microlight pilot's replying as I needed.
I am a student at Brunel University , and I am building a microlight as part of a group and I am working on the ergonomics aspect. It would be great if some of you could fill out this questionnaire.
Thanks guys!
Pilot questionaire on stalling
The questions:
(Please note, when a question is asked with 1-10, answer as 1 being the lowest, and 10 being the highest)
How many hours experience do you have:
In a microlight?
In any other aircraft?
What are the symptoms of approaching stall (The ones you can name off the top of your head)?
Do you believe you could identify an approaching stall without the warning system on the aircraft you have flown? How confident are you in doing so (1-10, with 1 being not very confident and 10 being very confident)?
Do you believe you could identify the approaching stall on a microlight without a warning system, how confident are you of doing so (1-10, with 1 being not very confident and 10 being very confident)?
Assuming no stall system already exists on the aircraft, how would you feel about installing one in ultralight/microlight flying (when/if you take it up)? On a scale of 1-10, how welcome would be you be to the idea (with 1 being unwelcome and 10 being very welcome)?
