Re: Air Cadets share your experience, or just be a snob :)
Angelos, I joined as a cadet in 2000, worked my way up to Cadet Warrant Officer and am now a CI. During my time I flew in a Herc, Tristar, Chinook, Lynx and Gazelle. Was awarded a Flying and Gliding scholarship and earned my gold AGT wings as a staff cadet. Carried the Corps banner for the closing ceremony of the 102nd Cadet leadership course and was the SNCO leading the team that won the RAFA top flight competition 2005 with the prize being a trip to RAF Akrotiri to sit in on the Red Arrows pre and post flight briefings and watch the display from the cliffs. Also in 2003 I won a eurofighter run competition and spent the day touring the eurofighter final assembly building in Warton. I also went on camps to Conningsby, Gutersloh, Henlow, Odiham and Wittering.
