Incorrect hours-logging advice in Go Flying magazine

In the Nov/Dec 2008 edition of Go Flying, Pablo Mason states in his column:

"If you're hiring a 152, fly with another pilot. Give the controls to the right seat pilot and you can both log the hours as P1."

This is not correct or legal. Perhaps Issue 12 should include a correction that clarifies hours logging in light aircraft and makes it clear that in a general aviation light aircraft certificated for single pilot operation, (except when flyin Dual with an instructor or PICU/S with an examiner,) at any point in time there is only one P1, there are no P2s and anyone on board other than the P1 is a passenger and nothing more. LASORs refers.

This sort of bad advice disadvantages those who keep their logbooks legal and correct and exposes those who follow such advice to CAA action.

There will be a correction in Issue 12.

Was it a printing error or did Pablo not know what he was talking about?

Please see the detailed response under the 'new messages' heading on the forum where it's explained in more detail.
Thanks

Thanks for clearing that up.  I see now that it was not a printing error.
